I picked this one up a little while back at a gun shop I rarely frequent and I went there just to check it out since I haven't been there in quite some time...I seen a Mauser and an M1 carbine and noticed this in the display case with a tag that said " with holster and spare mag"...I ran out of time and went home to research the 2 rifles...I went back 2 days later and the rifles turned out to be rather average and I asked to see the pistol and asked them if they could find the holster as they weren't displayed together....As soon as I seen the holster, I couldn't get my money out fast enough...The pistol is earlier than the kanji marked ones and the only proof that it is a Japanese officer private purchase is capture papers or the original holster..Holster had it's loops cut, but I think could be fixed...It is a "non standard" type and I haven't seen another like it on the net researching it...It's marked to the 36th infantry regiment last located on Okinawa to a soldier with a family name of Fujita per a couple guys on gunboards.. Comments welcome, thanks for looking...Sorry for the mixed up photos...Mike
