Interesting post war modified? Romanian? Dot 44.

I just recently purchased this Dot 44 k98k. Has anyone seen one quite like this? Its a Dot 44 k98k thats been fitted in a modified vz-24 stock. The Handguard is shortened and modified to fit like a normal k98k handguard, and there has been a bolt takedown disk added to the butt stock. It also has a vz-24 sight protector. I can not find any markings on the stock whatsoever. Very few of the numbers match on the gun. The metal finish of the gun is almost completely worn off and the eagles have been peened so bad that they are completely gone...which makes me think, is this a Romanian capture rifle? Any ideas?
