Interesting blank receiver luft depot rebuild

Looking for some opinions on this one. I found it on gunbroker. Seems to fall in the other E block rebuilds? One question I have is the stock is internally numbered matching but has no external markings including under the butt plate. It appears Unsanded.

Well, hate to be the bearer of bad news but the bolt is humped up. Font is wrong, too small, and should not have the suffix.

Bolt is quite humped. These are quite consistent in assembly and numbering I've found.

Hey, its still a cool gun if the only real issue is its a bolt mismatch...too bad some scumbag had to hump the bolt...

I believe this would be considered a depot build off of a spare reciever and not a rework of another manufacturers rifle.

FYI, while the bolt is bad, the person that sold it to you didn't hump it. This sold in 2017 with the same bolt, a LR auction.

This is not to say you shouldn't try and get your money back, if you can or want too, but this bolt has been in this rifle since 2017.

I know it shouldn't really bother me that much but it does. I hate thieves AND liars and this douche is both. Paul tracking the sale tells us this seller didn't do it. Hopefully one day your collective eyes catch one of these guys.

And that is a BAD hump job. 2nd digit isn't even close in size. And the metal scrapes in all odd directions?? Sorry to see you got had Caesar.

Collectively we do a very good job in “policing.” We catch a large number of these, practically all of them posted at the auctions. Then, “Columbo Loewe” miraculously can provide history and solve chain of title. The resources are available not to get scammed. Overall, these days are not good ones for 98k humpers. We are firmly in control and that is why the K98k (and related) collecting hobby is quite healthy. The same cannot be said of other areas of 3R collecting.

I’m actually thinking about buying another bolt for it and tossing that one so it doesn’t show up later in life again. ..... I wouldn’t mind have a bolt mm. anyone up for a donation

The sad part is some idiot humper vandalized a bolt. It's bad enough being a scumbag, but being a stupid skill-less scumbag to me warrants a flogging to near death. That's because the person who did this, that is them. They are a stupid, unskilled scumbag as a human being. He is likely ripping off people in auto-repair, home-repair, maybe as a lawyer, accountant, etc., as a rule. Thus, a human pox on this planet.

Look at the first photo. What should be sharp edges at the top of the stock are significantly rounded over
