Inspectors mark question

Just sittin around with nothing to do so I thought I'd ask this question that keeps me up at night, I notice on the front of my byf 43 front sight is the eagle holding a swastika, and on some others I've seen the Eagle over the inspectors number. Can someone tell me the difference?

My guess is it's a simplified waffenamt by Mauser Oberndorf. Pops up around 43 on both rifles and P38s....Fn made sight bases and bolts were stamped E/140.
