Yes, from the same friends collection of which I had posted the consecutive serialized Spreewerk P.38 pistols (see https://www.k98kforum.com/threads/consecutive-serialized-spreewerk-p-38-pistols.49496/ ), another impossible pair. This time identical serialized P.38 pistols, but from different letter blocks. Enjoy the comparison!

I own 7809c with the 'c' stamped backwards on the slide. Frame serial number and letter block as normal just like this one. Just a little over 500 pieces apart .....

The backwards 'c' is a fairly well known error in Spreewerk production. I've owned two and know of more than dozen others. They are all within about 1200 numbers of each other. The only other thing related to this error I've been able to note is one Spreewerk in the same range that had a backwards 'c' on a locking block. Seems they were fairly well confined to the slide.

Amazing it took the guy then around 1200 pistols to notice he was stamping it wrong way. Maybe an analphabet?
