I'm surprised you can't find anything. This is a Yugo rework of a German 98k.

Basically, its a Yugo rifle manufactured using recycled German parts.

The Yugoslavians scrubbed most of it. Certain markings might give a hint.

Odd your bolt number is not matching 840. Does it have a German barrel or the Yugo replacement barrel? Your capture rifle was refurbished prior to 1950.
