help identifying bolt

does anyone know what kind of bolt this is,the rear is different from the other trainers i have seen

odd one ??? Look at the top of the receiver there is a marking on top I can see.. There were lots of small firms making rifles and using odd designs this could be one.
 
That appears to be a later Mauser (or possibly Menz?) DSM, as Bob said. Perhaps the bolt was missing or broken at some time; it looks like someone welded a different handle onto the bolt, and customized something for a broken or missing shroud and safety. I know of no makers who produced anything that looks quite like that. A photo of the bolt OUT of the rifle would help, but may not tell a person any more than it being a do-it-yourself repair job.

That has to be one of the most innovative or demented cobbling jobs I have ever seen. I just have to know...

Does it function?

That is to say: feed, fire and eject?????

If so, somebody went way over the top to make it so.

Interesting to say the least.
