Help ID markings on the back of a P-08 holster

Found this holster in a small local shop. I know the photos are poor, but it was the best I could do inside with a camera phone.

Their is what appears to be a stamped name that begins with E and then ends with SS, with e
several illegible letters in between.
Below that numbers seem to be scratched into the leather.
Below that a three legged sun wheel,
And finally waffenampt WaA727. I have not been able to find a location or maker associated with WaA 727.

I found no date on the luger holster, but suspect it is fairly early as it does not have the large P-08 on the top right
side of the back normally found after hard shell P-38 holsters were introduced.

I would appreciate any help identifying these markings, and your thoughts on their being real or fake.

thanks in advance

* No large "P.08" & full maker's name instead of a 3 letter code indicates pre-mid 1940.

* The e/727 acceptance was used in 1938-1941 (or later) by Barth & Bocker of Waldbrol, Offermann of Bensberg, Lueneschloss of Solingen, Voegles of Koln, or Moll of Goch/Rheinland. All were working within easy distance of Koln.
This mark superseded WaA387. Above courtesy of "The Luger Book" by John Walters, Pg.284

* I'll let you guess which manufacturer based on playing the light off off the remaining impression stamp. Might try the baby powder trick to highlight the impressions. The #'s below the letters are likely the year 19xx??

* Lueneschloss of Solingen, may be a best guess.

Yeah the sunwheel is a dead giveaway for Lüneschloss 1939. Sellers sometimes try to sell these as SS holsters, but it was just part of the maker mark for some reason. Perhaps the company logo. I think this was the only year that had the company name/symbol, the rest are DLU 1940-1942.

RockinWR and Ryan,
Thanks to both of you for your informative posts. Would this holster with these marks command a premium over any other Luger holster in comparable condition?
Is it worth $200? It also contained a loading tool, but it was unmarked and I have no idea if it was real or fake

It's a less common maker, but the marking is faint so not sure about a premium in this case. IMO, one maker is more or less the same as another unless its something unusual (i.e., depot made), but thats just me.

$200 sounds ok to me if the leather is solid.
