Welcome to forum!

I've been to Millbrook a few times over the years , I'm in Cornwall, it's less then a hour from me .

a striper to us is a atlantic striped bass , some folks call um rockfish , so far this season all the fish have been over the slot size of 23 " to 28 "
the most southern migration range is normally North Carolina , you Georgia guys do get
a small breeding stock in the Savannah River
but , you have way better catfish and 5 species to go chase for food and fun , yer flathead and channel cats go up to 20 lbs
the blue catfish is the real pole buster going up to 5 foot long !

Welcome Ron, from PA. Avid outdoorsman here as well. I need to get up there to hunt whitetail sometime. My Pap followed the “biggest buck of his life" up in the Adirondack's way back when.

IMG_9396.jpegThat’s one heck of a buck in the back peeking around Mr high and narrow. The high and narrow one resembles my archery buck I harvested last week.

still snap shoot a cica 1967 damon howatt re curve with fixed broadhead on wood shaft arrows
That’s great. My first bow was an old Bear recurve. I don’t recall the model but my Gram used it to shoot pheasant on the wing. I also saw her drop an old doe running full sprint across a field at 150 yds with a sporterized K98k. She was the real sharpshooter in the family.

I ran the NYS jr HP team for many seasons , the girls ,as new shooters, always did better a'cause they listened to instructions !

Greeting from North Idaho!
Pat : thank you for the greeting from the land of open hunting ...you folks have national forest, wildlife refuges and wilderness area that us east coast guys
can only dream about ... I will say this : open / farm land prices out by you seem a bit over the top ...western NY , open rolling w/ some wood lot in 100 ac plus
parcel is about 2,500.00 per ac with the mineral rights

Yeah, I moved from property to where we are now. It was a good break as our previous property, while great for deer and turkey hunting, was very high maintenance.
