Gew98 mount identification

I recently acquired this matching '15 Spandau action which I believe is a sniper, due to the bent bolt and d+t pattern on the rear bridge which matches claw mounts of the period.
However the pattern on the ring is a mystery.
Anyone happen to be able to identify it?

I cannot remember a G98 mount that would fit to this hole pattern. At the rear most either carry only one, two or then already four holes. At the front they mainly have two holes and not four - plus the four on your action are SO much offset to the left and right that I really can't think of any mount that would have the screws in this location. Maybe Amberg will have a better idea, maybe it also was just some trials mount or a post war commercial mount - tough to tell just based on holes only.

If any more pictures of any areas would help in identifying this, I can get them.
If the bent bolt angle, etc., is helpful as to identifying wartime use as compared to postwar, please let me know!

Previous to 1917 the myriad of scope bases and patterns can defy logic. The different and varied manufacturers of optics and mounts in Germany were utilized completely starting in early 1915.
I had seen a crazy weird rusted to hell scharsfshutzengewehr98 many years ago. Bases mounted on a wedge/slide system where finely threaded rods allowed adjustment. A nightmarish affair but quite useable . No scope was present with the rifle and it was for sure not made by a fraudster..it was old and crusty .
