Hi folks this just came in the mail, had time to snap a few pics.

It's in the First Variation: 4000 pistols, not Waffenampt, delivered to occupied France on May 15 and 28, 1942. Serials 210951-214950

Nice Star B! There are a few of these floating around up here but still not a super common pistol by any means. Good score!

I'm glad to hear there's a few around Jeremy as this is the first one I seen and will fill the void till I find a WaA marked one.

I think there was a thread on CGN discussing these? Maybe I'm not remembering correctly but I thought there were a few mentioned there.

Great pistol. I've got a Bulgarian contract with no import mark and it's a great shooter. I didn't realize there was a non-waffenampt French delivery block.

It is interesting. Were they delivered directly to the Wehrmacht in France? I also grabbed a Bulgy contract piece and like it very much.

The Bulgarian reworks have been in the $300 range. Axis partner handgun. Nice price. Very shootable and decent quality also. I would recommend everyone pick at least one up (whether reworked or original condition). I bought one of the reworks last summer then stumbled onto an original one with Waffenamt in the correct serial number range on AuctionArms for what I thought was a reasonable amount shortly thereafter. Nice pistols.

I have one of the Bulgarian re-works. Nice guns at a nice price.. I'd love to have one of the German contract pieces.

Cool gun, Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys I like this pistol and for the cost I couldn't go wrong.

Those are tough to get..rarer than the w/ampt marked ones.

Your likely correct as it was the first and smallest shipment
