I just had to make a comment on this forum. My wife bought me an S84/98 Tiii bayonet for my one and only K98. While it is not here yet I thought I would do a little research on it.
I am just completely blown away by the amount of information/knowledge contained in this forum. I am told this bayonet has absolutely no markings on it anywhere so I thought I'd poke around and see if there was any info. Wow! Page after page of info not just on the bayonet in general but on unmarked bayonets in particular.
I do not post very often just a lurker at heart but just wanted to say this place is amazing. You have pretty much the Encyclopedia Britannica of bayonet info cataloged and organized.
A long post just to say thank you to everyone that puts this place together
