The prices vary depending on source. Over the past year and a half, I've seen a few that were in the range between $300 and $375 depending on condition. One way to tell if it is authentic is to inspect the color. Paper, pre-1960s was acidic and over time yellows. Color shifts where the booklet has been creased or bent. The booklet paper also has larger fibers than modern manufactured paper.
Notice the location of the saddle stitch staple, it's offset from the center of the booklet spine, is larger than a "normal" staple and also is thicker. I worked in the printing industry and the only real way to reproduce that staple is with a large saddle stitch machine, or a manual Bostitch Saddle Stitch machine, you'd have to get a custom die though.
This is from Darren Weavers site. You can be assured that it is authentic. It's a nice flat copy too, most I have seen were stored in the buttstock and are heavily curled.
Although not a G/K43 manual I have a MP44 buttstock manual which was constructed similar to the G/K43 buttstock manuals, see the 2nd attached photo. Notice the oxidation of the staple, paper fibers and paper color.
