G43 front sight base/ gas block removal and installation

I’ve acquire an original front sight base and gas block for my ac44. I have a general idea how to do the swap outs, original for the reproduction . A friend has a 20 ton press in his shop. Neither of us has done such a job on a G43 like this. Does anyone know of a video of such work, or can someone provide detailed instructions here on best method and tools to use to get the job done without damage to barrel/ receiver?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is chilling barrel necessary or would it help?

A friend gave me some good suggestions. Might not need that big press after all.

It should just slide on with a few light taps and pin in place.

Exactly what hatrick said. Slide on and with a punch and a few taps to the pin and you should be good to go!
