Hello everyone!

I'm new to G/K43 rifles and am considering purchasing a g43 DUV 44 one locally. From the bit of research I’ve done, I’m 99.99% sure the scope mount on this rifle is a reproduction, it even looks like it was installed incorrectly. However, the ZF4 scope appears to be original.

The seller mentioned they’ve only installed a spring kit but still has the original springs as well. I’m looking for your opinions on this rifle overall. The bluing looks too good to be true, could this be a post-war Czech rework due to the R marked stock? I am not entirely sure what the "R" marking signifies.

I’ll be inspecting the rifle in person soon. I know to check the rear receiver ears for any bends or cracks, but are there other critical areas I should focus on? The rifle is said to have all matching numbers except for the bolt housing.

The asking price is $4.8k, though I think there’s room to negotiate. What should I be looking for during the inspection, and what specific questions should I ask the seller?

Thanks in advance for your guidance!
