G41 AC43 Mismatched Parts Project Rifle

Was fortunate to win this AC43 G41 on GunBroker. Excited to start working on it and its a shame what the GI who brought it back did to it. Really nice stock on it.

I was watching that. Almost took a chance on it but not ready to jump into the G41 world. I still concentrate on building up G/K43's. Good luck on it and keep us posted on your progress.

Haha, i can believe that, g43 parts are not always easy to find, g41 will be worse. Still a nice G41 tho. I hope you can save the stock, whats that grey and black on it?

I’m pretty sure it’s a piece of metal added onto the stock for more durability post war.

Congrats on your new G-41! I put a bid on it for $999.99 and intended to set it aside for spare parts. I was tempted to go above $2,500 in the closing minutes, but have other parts needs at the moment. If you look at one of the pictures of the metal piece, you can see a saw cut or break in the butt.

Enjoy! These are great to fire and quite accurate as I have discovered.
