Had this basically gifted to me on a work trip to Germany and I honestly have never dug far into slings or cleaning kits for research. What do I have?

That was a nice gift! Beautiful1937 Mundlos kit, complete with all marked pieces...the only little issue is the "spoon" tool is missing the nib used to depress the magazine floor plate release button...but otherwise a very nice kit...the G. Appel chain may or may not be correct (probably not) but one of the guys who are really into these can tell you for sure!

Nice rg34. Not to split hairs but a Type 1b chain stamped DWE 219, SWE 439, SWE 243 or completely unmarked would also be correct for this kit. My thoughts only ....

Those makers I did not know, Slash. All the ones i have seem to have the stamped M with a 243 and eagle on the other side. Some are hard to read.

Thanks for the info! Think it would be worth it to try to replace the missing cylinder on the spoon? I've got easy access to a lathe and could probably find some scrap stock. I assume they're made of steel?
