Didn't want to intrude or take away from the other fine pieces so here is this one. A JHV43 and Luft jsd43 drop holster

Do both mags match? I wonder if the holster was paired up post war with that gun. I think JHV43 were from serial ~48,000 - 78,000. Looks great either way! No one has done an extensive study on the holsters from what I've seen, so I'm trying to deduce details based on observations.

Yes. I don't think you can say definitively that holsters were matched with certain serial number ranges nor use that for originality. I have seen original bring backs (lugers) that have holsters different than the pistol year. For example, my 42/1940 has a 1939 dated holster.
I think when they were issued year matching was not a priority.

At scale, yes, but I think for the smaller acquisitions there was less variance. Eventually I'll have enough data to make deductions. Thanks for the answer on the 2x mm.

It's a great find no matter what. The 2x matching magazines is icing on the top
