Fake DLU 42 P08 holster sells for $1285.00

I wrote him telling him it was fake, here is his reply.

I've seen the current copies and they're pretty amazing, but nowhere near good enough for a person that knows the difference. I've owned this holster long before they reached this level. I bought this holster from an older gentleman at least 35 yrs. ago along with 4 others of lesser condition. I sold the others through the years, but kept this one because of it's amazing condition. If you're interested in it you should buy it. I'll be a perfect lesson for you of what a genuine mint condition WW2 German holster looks like.

Original holsters are saddle stitched by hand, not by machine. You can see the markings left from the sewing machine foot. Fake markings too, but you can’t save everyone.

And for $1285!! For a holster? Hard to believe the sums being paid. Rather have the $1285 in my account real or not.
 
looks much better from the front than the rear.... its definitely not a low end repro.. I can see people being fooled by that one.. The rear of the holster is where it falls flat..

Nothing truer can be said... We cant save everyone.. Save and help the ones you know and those who will listen...

Pre98 bought a minty holster off ebay for 1600.00 its now on his site for over 2k !!! still for sale oddly enough...lol :ROFLMAO:
