I plan on moving this partially matching rifle and wanted to post receiver and barrel data for those who trend these.
barrel code reads: CXM 37 7 40 bys this is followed by three poorly struck waffenampts that appear to be e/38, but I could be mistaken on that

Thanks for sharing that. It's a Geco supplied ordinance spare barrel as indicated by the 0,2. bys (Ruhrstahl AG, Witten) was the blank supplier and cxm (Geco Berlin) was the finisher and the 3 x e/26 was the inspection team in Berlin at the time.
