DOW+ with focal adjustment

Recently bought this DOW+ with focal adjustment. Since it originates from Croatia, nigromontanus should be correct in that it's a leftover from the SS Volunteer Mountain Division Prinz Eugen. It is a rather early scope with being the 459th produced, the scope rings are void of any markings. It came with the shown leather caps which look like they were original to the scope.

Very Nice SSDC Scope , the Lens Covers are extremely rare and seldom found . The Covers are worth their weight in gold as far as I am concerned . Georg , your set of covers are the 2nd set I am aware of that exist . Best Regards .

Very nice! Thanks for the great pictures, these are hands down my favorite scope of the period. I'd love to own one some day, even a postwar. Congrats

Scope

Very nice scope with history! I have one on my keeper rifle, I do wish we could get together and do a database on rifles and scopes DAVE and match some of these back up. We already did it once already!
