Dk productions MP44

This is a DK Productions MP44.There's not much more I can say about this rifle that hasn't already been said on YouTube. In my opinion, this is a beautiful rifle! The rifles are marked MP44 instead of DK44 like I thought they would. Also, these rifles don't come standard with scope rails. I'm honestly glad it doesn't. You can ask for a scop rail if you'd like! As historically accurate these rifles are, you might have the same problems the Germans did (just guessing)!

I'm NOT complaining, but it might have been cool to choose between MP43, MP44, and STG44 marked receivers! I'm happy with MP44 tho

As you can see, the bluing on this rifle is beautiful. The action is smooth and very satisfying. Not as heavy as I thought it would be, much lighter! Magazine enters an exits well. Safety switch is perfect. I am having a problem with my dust cover wanting to close. When it does, it's barely hanging on. I think it's an easy fix but I'll ask DK before I do anything myself.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase! It's the closest I'll ever get to the real thing. There's the PSA STG, but it's to off for me to want to purchase it 😔. I plan on going to the range soon! I'll post about that! Tor was fantastic to work with. Very nice gentleman who was helpful and informative! Excited for what's next and unannounced creations they have going on seen in Forgotten Weapons video

I'm having problems attaching photos. It say the file is too large. How do I fix this?
If posting an IPhone photo, beneath the photo it says actual size, click on that and select large.
You can also email photos to yourself and send them in a smaller format, then post those.

That's a beauty! Definitely one of my dream rifles for sure and one I'll be saving up for in the future. Let us know how it shoots!

The dust cover is a pretty easy fix. I just used a sharpie underneath the dust cover, and with a slight bit of pressure pulled down on it. It’s straighten it out just enough to give it the amount of pressure. It needs to keep it shut now it only opens when I charge the rifle. IMG_1190.jpeg

If you’re referring to my MP44, it was a DK parts kit and I use cold blue on it so it easily rubs off and scratches easily so it pretty much started looking bad in a very short time

It took about 10 rounds for it to loosen up. I haven't had problems since! Got 80 rounds through it. Shoots like a dream. Real soft shooting. For the most part I hit what I'm aiming at. I had no problem hitting targets at 200 yards. I didn't have to adjust that sights at all. I haven't done a true accuracy test on paper. I hope to do that soon. I'll post the results when I do!

Nice to know that these haven't had any reliability issues and that they shoot well! Do these have a chrome lined barrel or any barrel lining at all? Looking forward to hearing back for accuracy results!

Beautiful rifle! The mount I have(repo) sits to low. The action won't fit under it. I'm glad I tested that before shooting it!

Did you get one of the waffenmeister mounts? I had the same problem with those. Ended up picking up a real Czech military mount, it works brilliantly. There is one listed on gunbroker with scope/bands for $850 right now, not a terrible price.
