DH Luger….

Haha

The Front Sight has been Expertly Milled & Dovetailed sometime way in the past and a Bronze Target Blade is in place. Now we under stand how to some collectors this may be a deal breaker. So. Don't Bid. On the Good side is, the Fantastic Sight Picture you get with that Golden Dot sittin inside that slit of a rear sight on that toggle. Read this Carefully. This Model P08 is 100% Correct with the exception of the aforementioned sight work“

A poor fake. This skull is usually engraved, but you can't tell from these photos.

The barrel also has wrench marks from being removed (probably during the dovetail work) so that's a nice bonus.

Another one out there on the interwebs. May have been seen before, but pistol does not seem to contain the hallmarks of rework/commercial proofing. But does contain British proofs.

Another one that surfaced recently. An undated (or scrubbed) early (maybe 1910 before they started dating the receivers) DWM with military proofs on the right side. Seems to meet the rework criteria with commercial proofs, but the head is upside down. Like another one posted previously, it has a mismatched Erfurt side plate. I'll go out on a limb and call this one legit.
