Deactivated in England WW2 Beretta - Model 1944

Pistol made it to Dec. 2022 before being deactivated, too bad. Note the CZ27 style holster, I have seen several of these holsters with Berettas in them.

I’m not too well versed on English gun laws except that their horrible, I thought the brits banned all handguns in the 90s. How did it manage to remain “live” for so long? Was it in the EU then imported to the Uk and deactivated?
