Correct bayonet/frog for an AX 1940 K98

Recently acquired an AX 1940 K98 & want to find a period correct bayonet/frog for it. Any help/opinions would be appreciated with the proper bayonet/manufacturer for this period K98. I'm also looking for a copy of: Reichswehr and Wehrmacht Bayonets 1920-1945" by Mike Welser.

You could use any bayonet S84/98 as it was obtained separatelly to army depots, but when You will a date correct so You could found a 1940 produced any with letter codes marked already.

Mike occasionally sells copies of his second edition book on ebay. You might keep an eye out for one there.

1985 printing is the first edition. If you are going to put down some coin you are much better off waiting for the revised and expanded second edition (1998). My thoughts only ....

Thanks for that information. One thing I learned through the years was to have "Patience" not always easy but nice to have :)
Any idea what Mikes contact information is?
