This was down at a local shop.
I don't know Mauser rifles but I looked at it quickly. The numbers were the same where I happened to look.
Is it a rifle worth pursuing?
Ballpark value if it is matching?

Looks like a 98M. Too many factors and variations to give any kind of estimate based on one pic

Bolt and Stock miners would be a good start…… floor plate and trigger guard numbers as well

The receiver serial number has been restamped, likely a Spanish rework. Unless it is cheap i'd pass. These are rarely found matching and are not very desirable.
