Because I don’t get it. Have prices on ac 45s jumped to this? It seems like after about $1600 it was a battle between NR and token feedback bidders.
Just ask yourselves this: If any of us owned this rig and we tried to sell it (even at a big event like the SOS or Tulsa), would we get anywhere near what this pistol closed for on Gunjoker?
And this.I have watched ac45 prices recently, a good one sells between 1000-1200, some with holsters. Guns with desirable features like fnh barrels, durofol grips, cog hammer, fn frames sell a little higher if pictured correctly. This is a typical gunsrc joke auction. That gun should be the low end, it’s boring.
Exactly!! And that's my point. And it's NOT jealousy as I don't sell, but if you don't think 'sales' such as these raise red flags amongst us you'd be mistaken.Just ask yourselves this: If any of us owned this rig and we tried to sell it (even at a big event like the SOS or Tulsa), would we get anywhere near what this pistol closed for on Gunjoker?

And to Ham's 2nd point it's almost comical sometimes that a low feedback buyer suddenly HAS to have this item even at 3 or 4 times high retail? Really? And I'm not just talking about this seller.
I wonder what would happen to Gunbonkers fee revenues if all shill bidding was stopped?
That there is a money laundering operation. That is the only explanation for the sales prices on mostly refinished items. Also you will notice the same winners all the time.This.
And this.
Are there that many low / NR bidders who have that much more money than sense?
