byf 43 Matching Numbers

Hi Guys,

New here on the forum and wanted to get your take on this one.
It's a byf 43 and the bolt sleeve, bolt, safety, floor plate, etc. match, except for the front sleeve.

Way more photos. Make sure you get all the SNs on the small parts - the bolt components, bands, floorplate, trigger guard, etc. Inside the barrel channel on the stock as well if you're taking it down.

I think he means barrel band.

My guess is that he means the bolt sleeve (or bolt shroud, whatever your preferred term is) and the implied "rear sleeve" is the cocking piece.

I like how sharp the stock cutout is, but definitely need more pictures. Where the front band is seemingly not matching, I'm curious if you find a duffle cut underneath the rear band.

I think he means barrel band.

I think so as well as stamped are most common (100% but that this only numbers 9 examples is hardly definitive.... but probable as all recorded is 9 and outside this block milled are near universal)
