Picked up a buttplate to complete a late war e/1 stock that I’m remilitarizing a sporter into. It has some remnants of reddish brown paint inside and these numbers as pictures show. I haven’t seen them numbered inside like this. What does anyone think? German production? Post war yugo or something else?
