BSW 39's no letter an 'a' block. Same but different.

Here are two more that are close 1939 Bsw's. I wanted to post some close ups of the stock markings. Of note, The no letter block rifle has the top two proofs reversed ?
Interesting. Also the BSW script differs slightly. The "a' block was purchased with m.m. screws. I was lucky enough to have 1 long Bsw marked srcew !!!! Never seen one before. It looks as though it was marked Bsw before they cut the slot for the screw.

Beautiful stock! I soooo love the stocks with those nice deep distinct strike cartouches and WaA's!

More early

We have had a lot of killer early rifles like these posted lately.
Let's keep it up. Bring these to Allentown Mike...I want to hold and see rifles like these.
BSW is so tough to get ! You could live in those proof marks they are so deep. Thanks for posting .
