Bought my first WW2 rifle wanting to learn more about my K98 I paid 900 for it at my local gun show.
Just posted the pictures and I believe it’s all matching (I think)You'll have to resize your pics to post them or use a 3rd party and link them here (imgur) but given your seeming lack of knowlege probably got ripped off. Or got a great deal. Only one way to tell
Firing pin matches and I think the marks were sanded unfortunately the guy I bought it off of said it shot great the few times he shot it sights are matching as well.Is the firing pin/ bolt matching?
Gun looks great- everything else I see is matching and the wood is great (are there any stamps on it or have those been sanded off?)
Not bad!! I say great buy - hopefully the barrel is good on it
Well doesn`t look like his "seeming lack of knowledge" got him ripped off. Sometimes the unknowing catch a break. You'll have to resize your pics to post them or use a 3rd party and link them here (imgur) but given your seeming lack of knowlege probably got ripped off. Does the recoil lug have a cyrillic marking on it?

Even though the finish is thin and has been cleaned you made a pretty good b
Unfortunately after talking to my buddy everything is matching but the stock so it’s not 100% matching but still really happy with it for 900.
