This rifle was posted a little while ago. a fellow Canadian member MXZXops found it. I helped authenticate it for him, and expressed interest should he wish to sell. He offered it up, I didn't hesitate. Nice condition large font bnz44 Kriegsmodell. With a very interesting barrel. An FN barrel with the same lot code as the byf45 Bruce Karem just purchased and posted. Speaking with Mike on the matter, it seems quite late for this but here it is.

Mxzxops didn't do a full photo workup or data sheet type entry so I figured I would re-post it in the format I post all my guns.

Another nice piece love the mix of blued and phosphate parts with these late war models. Thanks for sharing glad you got it too.

Amazing. Thanks for posting the pics. To pass on that one would be stupid, once in a lifetime in my experience. Another sticky is coming.

Nice to see this one again!

I think the lights are a little harsh on the bluing, I bet it would look amazing photographed outdoors on a nice day.

I love these early bnz Kreigsmodells like this, which represent the first production in 45. I like the sling too - just for grins check the sling about halfway between the tip and the buckle, sometimes they are marked there.

Thx Mike. I'd wondered if tnis was made in 45
Or late 44.
I've examined the along with good natural light, harsh white light, a loupe, blue light, uv light and I can not find a marking. The back side is the type that doesn't hold a marking real well. Kind of furry almost if you know what I mean.

Butt plate isn't marked armenjs. Same as my t block.

What a great example , this would be hard to upgrade . Your very lucky man Andrew . I am sure I know one guy here who`s salivary glands are working overtime . Best Regards
