Can you provide pictures of a legit matching rifle/scope combo or a scope mount with this high of a serial number to prove this claim? The highest I have ever seen is the 4,000 range. Personally I would question a rifle without matching scope in this high of a range. But if you can provide evidence I am all ears.

I know that this story is factual , I go to this same gun store a few times every week . I actually went in to the store on Wed this week and one of the workers I am good friends with told me straight away that there was a German Sniper Rifle that was brought in on Tues. about noon time and started telling me about the rifle .

I asked him a couple specific questions about the rifle and once he answered me I started thinking that this is most likely the LSR that I just saw posted at the forum . I had him go to the thread at the forum and when he saw the rifle , he said yes thats the rifle . He also told me it was brought in by a Landscaper
and he was wanted to get an appraisal and who gave the appraisal . Luckily for the new owner the appraiser had no clue of its actual value .
