Hey there,

Thought I’d share the most recent addition to my collection. Gratefully got this from another longtime forum member. Its nothing super unique or odd, just an honest example of a midwar Gustloff bcd 42. As one would expect from Gustloff, everything is marked with lower case letters, corresponding to the various subcontractors.

That is one nice, honest example of a 98k. Being made in 1942 is a real plus.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Im very happy to have this nice ‘42 rifle in my collection. A ‘midwar’ patterned gun is something Ive been seeking out for a bit now. Not the easiest thing to find, especially up here in Canada.

Its also been fun getting into another manufacturer. I picked up a nice bcd 4 semi-kriegs recently as well, so had to dive into the books and do a bit of reading!
