Bayonet lugs

CE44, is that the longer or shorter lug? I have a small display stand project my son would like to build in woodshop class.
Obviously not bringing the blade to school.

By Kar98 could be only long 4cm Mauser adapter. Shorter lug is combined allways with barell ring.

“Generally speaking” only South American contract Mauser pattern rifles have the shorter lug.
