Spaffo Senior Member Jan 29, 2020 #1 Just bought this Spreewerk P38 to go with my A43 P38. Now all I need is a Mauser P38. I really enjoy shooting the AC43, hope this one is fun too. Attachments 20200129_125434-818x527.jpg 86.2 KB · Views: 95 20200129_125609-790x511.jpg 73.1 KB · Views: 76

Spaffo Senior Member Jan 30, 2020 #3 Yeah, definitely a shooter. Paid $600 and sold the P38v Walther HP magazine that came with it for 100.

M matthanne Senior Member Jan 30, 2020 #4 I think with a 'b' suffix, it is actually about April 1943. Early frame (no hump). Check the slide near the cutouts for the locking block for cracks, but nice catch!

Spaffo Senior Member Jan 30, 2020 #5 You're correct. I thought it was a "p" block until I looked at it again. I don't see any cracks. The price was right for the condition of the pistol. Last edited: Jan 31, 2020
