1943 Duv code G41

Warrior1354

ax - hole
This is an Duv code G41 that an buyer is offering me to buy. The rifle is untouched and has been stored in an closet for decades. The rifle was passed down to the son due to his father's passing. Their offering me the rifle for $4500 firm and that's too me only. Since this would be my first G41 rifle to own wanted to know what you guys think about it? Is the price for it too high, too low, fair, or should I wait to find another one? Advise

And here's the link for pictures of the rifle

Hello,

if bolt carrier and all bolt parts match this price is a steal, most sell for the 6500-7500 range.

Well I was told I have to give them a decision by tomorrow or their going to list it on gunbroker. Man thinking about this rifle is eating me up been wanting one for along time. No matter how you look at it it's still alot of money.

As Vaughn said, if it's matching, it's well worth the money. If nothing else, you could resell and make a profit off of it.

All matching it's a great deal with what they have been selling for as of late. Nice examples are getting few and far between even at the larger auction houses. Yes its a pile of cash but you will do well at that price!

as others have said it's not a bad price for an all matching duv with scope rails.

I disagree where the others say it can sell for a whole lot more. I think the seller knows the market and knows it wont sell easily for more. It's priced to sell..
