1940 Steyr 660 WW2 German K98 Rifle

Reblued/pimpshined, heavily wanked wood with humped stock stampings. I'm sure there is more wrong with it but I don't do roadkill autopsies. A driveby at 60 is enough for me to see that it's flattened and feeding flies. I don't need to stop and get out to examine it further.
Cheers,
HB

That's phucking hilarious Ham. The BIN is a joke too. Anyway without giving away too much there's 2 major flaws with the stock stamps as he already pointed out.

HM, those look like they were heated and branded, not popped in there. It might work for reenacting after they removed the blue from the buttplate and discs.

I thought we didn't do current auctions. Not that I'd bid on it...
:googlie
Jeff

Things like that fall within the realm of warning and amusement, not an auction. We don't deem the listing of a humpjob to be a real auction Ditch.

Ham, I was just making the point because the OP is new and would have posted that even if it was a hidden gem on GB ..... or a turd like it is which deserves ridicule. Or he could have been hawking a turd. (not that you were at all doing that, BELIKEBRO.)

Rules is rules, man! :happy0180:

Valid point and glad you raised it Ditch. I was going to delete the link unroll I looked at it. BLB, we're here to help but we don't post ongoing auctions. Best is to contact privately for help or post pics without auction reference or link.

The only reason i post the live auction was because I am in the market for k98 and you guys are considered experts here. Just want to get your opinion before I blow up my money on something fake and regret it later.
