1937 Mauser S/42 P.08 Luger

I picked up another Luger the other day: a 1937 S/42. It’s all matching (no forced matches), decent finish, and no import marks. The magazine is non-matching but has an E/63 waffenamt. It’s in the transitional period, so it has the Mauser hump and salt blue parts. Here are some pictures:

The last one shows it posed with my 1936 S/42 VoPo. What a difference service life makes!

The 1937 looks like a nice one. I think the numbered grips are a plus because you always know they are the originals.
 
@tharpo - I’m pretty happy with it and I was pleased with the price. It definitely looks like something a GI brought home from the war.
