Here is my BCD 4 Long Side Rail Sniper from the Kreigsmodell Book. The base rifle is all matching and like new in my opinion. I like it as I can put any scope on it I want. Maybe the matching scope will show up. For now it is pictured with a wide band blued BEK with matching can and a narrow band phosphate BEK in the photos below.IMG_1760.jpgIMG_1756.jpg

Glad You posted pics , I just did a search to see if I had posted pics of this one , I never did . At that time I did not even have a Camera to take pics let alone know how to post pics .

This LSR is likely the nicest cond. Gustloff LSR that I have ever owned . She still looks great and has not appeared to have aged one bit .

Should also make mention that the original Mount & Scope thats came with the Rifle . I have tracked down that Mounts Matching Rifle . Sadly thought the owner has passed away and his collection is tied up in a court battle between family members .

Thanks for sharing pics .

Yes Dave. Thanks, as this rifle is one of my favorites. The ultimate style in late war German Snipers. I always liked how the rear sight had the solder flowing over the side.

Very nice Brain, mine was only a hundred or so after yours. I can’t believe you pried this out of Dave’s hands, you must be very persuasive. Do you happen to know the date code under the butt plate?

Very nice and close in serial number to mine also. I love Gustloff LSRs with the mixture of blue and phosphate parts. Thanks for sharing this and the phosphate Ajack scope. Also extremely cool.

Brian, I'm having a really tough time to tell the serial from the pictures, especially when looking at the barrel. Can you confirm it is 84929 ("assembled" from the serial on the barrel and on the bolt) and do you want me to add it to the "Rifles looking for Scopes" list?

To the rifle itself, I can only concur with the others in here. It is a marvellous rifle that is impossible to upgrade. Details such as the nearly in Steyr-fashion milled down gas shield are the icing on the cake. You should be very proud of this one and I really wish you are able to get hold of its original matching mount!

If Dave knows where it is, Dave do you also know which scope is in that mount?

Matt have you popped off the butt plate? What’s the date on yours?

Here are original auction Pics . Just wanted to clarify , I was referring to the Mount & Scope that was on this LSR when I sold it , I know who owns/owned the Matching Rifle to the Mount & Scope on Pictured LSR which is same LSR that Brian has posted but Brian posted it with a different Mount & Scope than what it was sold with

I was not saying I know were the Matching Mount is to Brians Rifle .

That scope is Gonzo Dave. I traded it to a guy out in Vegas.
