    Portapee on Combat Bayo??

What's the deal with portapees on combat bayos? Seems odd, but was told (member here, but posted on another forum last yr) that these were correct on combat edges. This example is Luft Flak, LBA 36 marked to the city of Wei w/ maker mark. When bought, it was incorrectly married to a dress bayo...

    Waffenstadt 1935

Here's mine... I was puzzled by the ### on the butt plate and then found same ### stamped in the barrel channel for the stock & HG. I see the CGH also stamped in the channel beneath the grease. Guessing C.G. Haenel made the stock. Anyone know what the "logo" represents at the barrel collar...

Mauser DSM ... SA, with provenance

Here's a nice one, that is late '38 production (via Speed's estimate), with an elm stock. Clearly used, SA stamped, with a Sturm/Standarte button at the toe. Numbered internally as it should be. Duffle cut too, so a BB.

    Early Buchenwald KKW??

So, Buchenwald KKW production is mentioned as starting around 265xxx. Simpson mentions (pg. 287) SN 264707 "Stock Marking Change (Buchenwalde manufacture), but no mention of what the stock marking is to indicate B'wald.. Previously, I assumed B'wald guns required E/749, but apparently All...

    T-14, 2 matched mags (Aug 1943)

Well, there's no T-14 in the ref. section so here's one for consideration. In 1943, (18 date) only two factories remained in production. Kokubunji: Was still strawing there small parts, and never simplified their cocking piece. Only 6000 units made in '43. Toriimatsu: No straw, 46,500 units...

    Japanese T-14, v. German P.38

Let me begin by saying I am a T-14 fan. Also, I realize what someone's likes has little bearing on anyone else. In fact, most folks really don't care, and merrily collect what they like. Overall Production P.38s had three factories that made ~990K units over ~ 6 yrs. T-14s had five...
