    CAD LSR Scope Rig.

A little out of my "wheelhouse" here. I ran across this scope set up and thought I would share it with others on the forum. It is a great rig, with Veteran provenance, as to being captured just outside of Bastogne in Feb. 1945. Vet stated it was in the forest, on a pile of soldiers...

    ZF4 Mount Review - Original??

I am posting these pics for "maxipum", a forum member here. They were provided by him to me and he was unable to figure out how to post them..understandable, so, I helped him out. He wishes to receive others opinions on the authenticity of this mount. My opinion is not favorable of this "214"...

    Leather holster/pouch stamping ID?

This stamping is inside a Walther Model 5 pouch. I assume it is a stamp used by the DAF to identify that the leather was made and inspected by the DAF?? The pouch itself appears home-made. Thanks in advance.

    bcd stock question

Been looking at a bcd G43 recently here, "a" block. I know it is not that unusual to see other G43 manufacturers parts on a bcd G43. The example I am looking at has a WaA359 on the wrist of the stock, in addition to all of the typical bcd markings on that stock. One assumes that Walther maybe...

    Unknown German Document?

This document came back in a recent WWII vet grouping, along with a Ukrunde for a Kuban Shield awarded to a Gefreiten, Arthur Sieber, 10./Gren.-Reg. 213. Does anybody know what this was for? Some type of official appointment letter? Thanks in advance! Brian

Matching mounts, stamped & etched scope numbers.

Been trying to figure out about when they stopped stamping mounts with the scope SN. the earliest verified all matching G43 sniper rig I have seen was for the ac44 "d" block....stamped numbers. The next all matching one I have seen was from the ac44 "h" block (I think), with etched SN's of...

    ZF4 Wooden Scope can

This section of the Forum has been unacceptably quite lately for some reason.....I know it is the K98K Forum, but the lowly G/K43 deserves some attention too. :biggrin1: Anyways, here is an original wooden scope can. Enjoy.

    Dual manufacture "f" block.

It has been pretty quite on this part of the forum lately. I thought this example would be a nice addition to the "Highest 45 QVE" thread started by Jack944. This example utilizes an ac45 marked receiver that was sent to Berlin Lubecker from Walther in the last days of the war, prior to their...
