I was wondering if anyone out there reproduced the wider bands for the late model long side rail mounts. I was told the banded base was not different between narrow and wide and that it was only band width.

At my disposal I have zeiss zielvier and am wondering if on a last year production low turret if this scope is appropriate for that mount or a high turret. Banging my head against the wall trying to build something historically accurate, rifle is 44 dated but the mount will cover the maker mark...

Basically I'm building my first sniper rifle, a single claw clone with an original (postwar I believe albeit steel body) zeiss zielvier scope. Any and all help appreciated, image attached below
