    Where to find original snipers?

I’d post pictures but as usual, this forum can’t ever accept pictures. Could a moderator resolve this issue? Luger Forum and the others are much simpler.

    Where to find original snipers?

I have two original LSR snipers. One late phosphate the other ce and blue. Also, a double claw. All of which have been acquired from very old collectors that I’ve known for years. Since they’ve come back from Europe, I’m the third caretaker now of these pieces of history.

Need help seeing if a Gewehr 41(W), G41 is worth asking price

Why not find a nice G or K 43 shooter? Besides being easier to find and if you need parted they’re more accessible. The G41 is a nice idea but I have a collector grade one which I won’t fire due to being unable to find parts if I blow it up!

    K98 Sniper Legit?

Looks like fonts are different on receiver and front mount. Always a concern. If it were legit, it’s a $18-20k rifle.

    "G.29o" 660 1939 b block

Whatever the condition of the rifle supports. Very fine examples would go for high retail.

What a beauty. Haven’t found one yet in that condition to buy. Been looking a long, long time.

Late Phosphate Radom P.35 Rig 2/K1275

His is restitched too. That’s why it’s not selling. The stitching isn’t even very good on his. While I don’t consider myself the definitive source, with close to 100 Radoms in my collection, all with holsters, and not one of them with these holes, I’d say that I have a very good knowledge and...

Late Phosphate Radom P.35 Rig 2/K1275

Take a look at the stitching on the back. The loops have been re-sewn into new holes and the outside seam has been re-sewn into new holes. The threading is also new. Period correct threading, but new. Whenever you see vacant stitching holes, it’s a sign that the stitching has been replaced. IMHO.

Late Phosphate Radom P.35 Rig 2/K1275

Great rig. The phosphates are really interesting variants. Your holster has been restitched and isn’t all original unfortunately. Otherwise, really nice keeper!

    43’ Mauser High Turret Opinions

I passed on it. There were just too many issues with it. Thanks for responding though.

    43’ Mauser High Turret Opinions

    1. Is it possible for 43’ Mauser high turret to have a legitimate flat butt plate? 2. Stock matches but hand guard does not. Thoughts? 3. Stamped upper band and milled lower neither serialed. Shouldn’t the bands be serialed on a 43’? Also, I can’t find that band combo in any reference...

G41 (M) Spotted at The Syracuse NY Gun Show this Past Weekend

Simpson got 19k for his a couple of years ago and RIA routinely fetched over 10k for them. If it’s all matching and in very good to fine condition with matching nose cone, someone will pay 17k for it. As I’ve observed over the years…. Someday my kids will have a nice return on mine purchased...
