    MKb42(H) sold at Auction

The barrel on their gun has seen the barrel replaced. I don’t know how it would be possible to source an original replacement barrel, other than having one made by a commercial manufacturer. The Mp-44 barrel has a step in the middle, so they couldn’t use one of them. The stg 5266 as the ser# is...

    MKb42(H) sold at Auction

That’s part of the issue. If you look closely you will see that the barrel has been replaced. The rivet that holds it in place is not correct. That means that the barrel is a commercial barrel. The contour is different than the Mp-44 series.

    MKb42(H) sold at Auction

The barrel is likely a post war replacement. Caveat emptor.

Gebrüder Merkel Luftwaffe Double Barrel Shotgun

Late to the party I’m afraid but I have both drilling and o/u. I have a picture side by side of the two and I will post my o/u next weekend on Luger Forums. Great information on this thread. I’ll take down my o/u and compare. If someone would like to post the picture, I will send it to them...

    Polish Eagle Vis 35 Questions

As the final point, if this were to have been put together by German occupation as some were early on, each were in the 10,000 serial number range, over stamped/rolled with the German legend for the P 35p together with German WaA. This was likely captured by the Germans after capitulation and...

    Polish Eagle Vis 35 Questions

You have yourself a very interesting piece of history. This is a late production, literally just prior to the final days before German occupation, where the plant was grabbing parts and putting them together. There are inspector proof on both sides of your trigger guard. However, it does lack...

    Polish contract Walther PPK

It was twice what you would expect for a war time ppk or about as much as an SS with matching mags.

    Polish contract Walther PPK

Great piece. I recently held one in a collection I was valuing and sold it to a friend and fellow Polish Collector of mine. Several hundred were sold to the Polish police prior to the invasion in 1939. A very coveted piece by Polish and ppk collectors. They typically fetch high price.

    Where to find original snipers?

I do practically everything from my phone. Unfortunately, all the pics I’ve tried to upload when I post are always too big. This only happens on this forum and not the other forums. Sounds like it’s a simple tech fix with this platform. I’ve seen other forum members comment on the same issue...
