A bit of an update. I have my brass, bullets, and dies. She's back shooting. Probably me on the low one but it's a start.

I found my brass The gentleman sending it said he'd also send some bullets he casts for his. My bore is in the .453 range I haven't ordered the dies yet but do most of you shoot black powder in them ?

This was down at a local shop. I don't know Mauser rifles but I looked at it quickly. The numbers were the same where I happened to look. Is it a rifle worth pursuing? Ballpark value if it is matching?

I'm not sure I'll have much for choices. What would you suggest if possible/ plausible?

Thanks Sir It was at a LGS I know the owner pretty well and he had just listed it in GB. He told me if I wanted it I could have it for 500. I thought it was a good price. Now I have to hunt for some ammo as I'd like to shoot it some. Maybe bring it out for a bear hunt.

It is indeed #08 marked on the barrel, the reciever, and rings. Thanks again Unfortunately most of my pictures say too large to post here.

Thank you Sir I picked up a Danzig sporting rifle serial # 08 that still has its mounts and scope but my pictures were to large.
