    Just bought a g43 DUV 44 sn4359R

    Yep, e block. BLM’s E’s look weird, but it’s definitely an “e”.

Late 1945 PP ac mismatch rig

You know…..the guys in the know seem to point out that these were simply souvenirs. I submit they could have been used in combat. What I mean is that the G.I.s got these from the Walther factory and left with them and continued the fight. The War wasn’t over yet. So, it could be possible...

Late 1945 PP ac mismatch rig

R.Blue, That is really cool! I do have a mismatch like that with capture papers and some other paperwork with it (I can’t recall what the other paperwork is off hand as I’m typing this). It’s been a few years since I got it. I want to say that mine, with capture papers, has the plastic grips...

Late 1945 PP ac mismatch rig

Thanks! Yeah, I can’t explain it but pressed wood grips on these are just the neatest thing. Just the collector in us I guess, because the normal thin plastic grips are more streamline and what everybody thinks a PP should look like. The bubble wrap marks I didn’t see until later. They’re...

Late 1945 PP ac mismatch rig

Yes it does. But the lighting in the photos, and it’s so dry that it makes it appear like that even more so. If I were to put a little oil on the slide it would really show the light blue color more that they have. My guess also is that the holster hole was done with a punch. Way too...

Late 1945 PP ac mismatch rig

I did that once. Check these two out that I have: https://p38forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39229

    AC 44 G43 I recently picked up

The sight hood looks correct by height. The cleaning rod on yours is a tad too long. Here’s one I randomly pulled off of one of my G.43 bcd rifles:

Late 1945 PP ac mismatch rig

Very possible. But, what makes me wonder is that the hole is precisely centered and perfect, not ragged or anything like being haphazardly done.

Late 1945 PP ac mismatch rig

Hello, I just got this one in from Legacy Collectibles a couple of weeks ago. Nothing special, but I don’t think it’s been cleaned or anything and I just really liked it. So, I thought I would photo it and show her off. Sort of a “pre Tulsa buy” I guess you could say. The holster is a little...

    AC 44 G43 I recently picked up

No, if those items are what I think they are, you would need to get the correct front sight hood and a correct cleaning rod. On the front sight hood, it was hard to actually see what it is, but it looked too short to be a G.43 front sight hood. Need a better photo of that piece to see for sure...

    AC 44 G43 I recently picked up

Wow, that one is really early. It looks like from the photos it may have a K.98k type front sight hood and a cleaning rod from another type of rifle.

If you get it show her off.

    G43 price question

I’m sorry but I can’t. It’s a large list and it’s on a computer that is very old. If you need anything in particular I can help.

    G43 price question

G.43 bcd rifles are very hard to come by if all correct. So far, this rifle looks correct, but there’s A LOT more things to check. Stock markings and if it’s all matching or not. So far, the stock looks very nice. $3,500 is a very low price to pay for a correct G.43 bcd rifle. When they...

    AC45 K43 a block

    Gorgeous rifle!

Late war K.43 Walther rifles question to pose

I would need to check my listings of these, but that’s probably pretty accurate. I don’t think any of them were documented with whether the parts were Walther or BLM. I’ll need to start doing that with these because that’s an interesting thing to note. Exactly.

Those are two really nice Mausers!

    Late Walther PP

Yes, super, super nice. Matching and everything. I personally like the wood grip ones myself. Guaranteed, that one would have sold. What’s cool is finding them as a rig when they are all dry looking. Just neat.
