Mauser 71 unit mark

Hi guys,

Come across this Mauser 71 with steel trigger guard. Bolt mismatch , but has interesting unit on butt, of which I wondered if one could decode please ?

From Manual of 1877 :
Garnison-Bataillon Nr.1 des IV.Armee-Korps, 3.Kompagnie, Gewehr Nr.50 . . . . . . . . . . . IV.G.B.I.3.50.
So i would tend here to 3.Garnison Batallion des V.Armee Korps, 3.Kompanie, Waffe nr.24
 
Consider adding a few details for the study of this variation:

Could well be. If you have the original go with that. I'm just running off what Noll had to say.

I have two M71 carbines. I'd be very grateful if you'd tell me what the regimental markings mean:
The first has on the flat of the butplate 1.G.D.3.35.
The other has on the upper tang of the buttplate just 15.U.
