Glad you made it here (the best place by far for K98 info), but as stated in other groups there are many many things wrong with this one.
 
Für mich schaut auch der Totenkopf u das SS2
seltsam aus ... die 2 finde ich zu Groß!
Könnten vielleicht noch Detailbilder gemacht werden?

To me its a restored sporter. polished bolt is typical with them. No matching bands ect.
Stock is beautiful, just wish i knew what its for. Imperial cross lug.
The ZF41 relief cut into the stock is better than most you see.
The rear site base handguard lip was probably removed so they added the ZF base and made this.

I've never owned one.
I've seen worse fakes than this one.
The barrel shank marking is interesting.

The picture is not great but the OP’s SS2 DH has potential. Can’t tell for certain. Here is one of mine.

How much does shooter grade rifle cost in your local market?

It's always hard to say because prices are different everywhere. Canada, for example, has much, MUCH higher prices over-all than the US.

But if this was a $1500 rifle in the US I'd laugh until my sides hurt.

Chances are you can do much better for either that money or a little more, but again I say this with the giant caveat that I don't know how bad your local market is.

It depends on the professional a single-number K98 costs between 1000 and 1500.

We still find a lot of barn-find K98s here, which generally sell for between €400 and €700 from private sellers.

I have enough K98s to do, but I don't have any SS yet !
