Looking for original war time leather case, have a comercial type but
is missing the long shoulder strap, if any one has a spare strap to sell
please message me, any one have pictures of these in use.
 
Yeah, me too. One for my Ajack SS SSR scope. They seem to be as abundant as the scopes though.
 
I have an original 1939 dated case for the SSR which I would consider selling. I do believe it is an SS case, and not a police case, based on the Waffenampt. Someone long ago attempted to slice off the maker's mark, but they missed the Waffenampt entirely, and the date is still somewhat readable. I was able to match the makers mark with another case I found on this forum. The slightly visible letters "A" of A.Fischer, and the "B" of Berlin 0.2 were of help in matching as well. I have included a photo of a matching case stamp for reference. If I'm not mistaken your pouch has an Eagle C stamp on it. That would be a Police acceptance stamp.

Thank you for the feedback! Any help is greatly appreciated, as it would seem my research was incorrect. Can you point me to a resource which would show the different acceptance stamps?

If you still have the police Short side rail scope case I have interest in purchasing. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks
